I am passionate about positively impacting the lives of individuals with Down Syndrome and their families.
With over a decade of personal experience raising my child, Ryan, with Down Syndrome while dealing with my own life's adversities, I understand the unique obstacles that come with this journey for both the child and the parents. Through my journey, I've gained valuable insights, knowledge, and strategies that have helped my child thrive and so do I.
Also, I hold a doctor of pharmacy (PharmD) degree. This academic background has equipped me with a deep understanding of medical and therapeutic aspects that can support individuals with Down Syndrome.
My Philosophy
I believe that children with Down Syndrome have unique talents and the potential to achieve greatness as others. By tapping into their inner strengths, individuals can overcome any obstacles and live a life of limitless possibilities. With Down Syndrome Empowerment's guidance, however, parents of children with Down Syndrome are empowered to take action, get support, and thrive.
